Cosmos Candles

Cosmos is an organic ethical brand specialised in oil blends and candles.

They were looking to launch a new line of candles featuring three products: Stars Blend (Chamomile and Honey), Sun Blend (Pomegranate and Orange) and Moon Blend (Lavender and Coconut).

A handmade, down to earth feel was required for the products, since they’re all natural and organically sourced. The brief stated that they wanted to see an approach that uses (or mimics) paint techniques such as watercolour or gouache.

To make these new products even more unique, they wanted the illustrator and designer to develop bespoke illustrations for each product. These illustrations will be on the labels applied onto the candles’ glass jars, as well as on the boxes the candle comes in.

In addition to bespoke illustrations for each product, I created packaging graphics, a brand mark for the range itself, and a landing page for their website.

This was a personal project with the brief, logo and colour palette supplied as part of the project.
