Based in Northern Ireland, Denise Leacock is a well established Wedding & Brand Photographer.

March 2020 was looking to be a very busy year for Denise’s wedding business. But as we all know, our lives changed overnight.

Her year became one of stillness. So, she spent the next few months reconfiguring and refocusing her efforts towards her second love - brand photography. Over the course of 2020 and in to 2022, Denise has helped countless SME’s get online with stunning, creative and imaginative imagery, helping them connect with their own audiences and create sustainable businesses.

Denise’s original business model, primarily focused on weddings, families and newborns. But this new found passion for brands and creative entrepreneurs meant her old branding just didn’t work across both audiences.

She approached me to help her solve this dilemma - create an overarching brand that connected to both audiences, but in different tones. She also wanted her branding to reflect where she wanted her business to go in the future and the types of clients she wanted to attract.

Through our Discovery Session we found areas of improvement she could make to her business, common ground across both audiences, and a way to translate that.

I created a unique monogram that gives her brand flexibility across her digital platforms, and a bespoke typography logo that speaks to her spring like personality, with fine lines and soft curves. I focused on her love of the autumnal outdoors, creativity and heritage to influence the creative direction and colour palette - taking inspiration from her catalogue of photos.
